Sarra Alhindi

Curator, Writer, and Artist (born Nov1984 in Kuwait)

Part of TASAWAR team 2020, A writer with two artistic books, former PR officer for space solutions company and interior design, cultural activist, initiative and, founder for many previous cultural activities and salons in Kuwait, She’s blogging about the art & culture since 2012 via her Instagram page @sara_al_hindi.

Her first career was as a trainer in The College of Education at Kuwait University as an educational technologist from 2011-2016, thereafter she focused more on art and social changing by taking her first step in the field at curating workshop by artist and curator Lulwah Al Homoud in Alriyadh. After that, she participates at summer course titled (Curating the Contemporary) by Goldsmith University with instructor & curator Dr. Simon Sheikh at the British School of Rome- July 201. Recently, she gained a certification of (Introduction of Curating) online course by Sotheby’s Institute of Art with instructors & curators: Alexandra Schwartz and Kathy Battista.
